I decided when I was young: do extreme travel when your body can take
it. If you wait until you retire to go to strange places, your body
will be so decrepit, you won't be able. I got it out of my system, and
now I'm content to stick to civilized destinations. Civilized, meaning
paved roads and recognizable food. Mind, I'm still coming to Britain
this summer, so mebbe that's all a crock.

Yup. Paved roads went out with the Romans, dontcha know. These days
they use this amazing stuff called tarmac for roads and reserve paving
    slabes for pavements.

It's looking good so far, but now the SiL is getting married and we're still
not sure of the timeframe. It's supposed to be in either August, September or
    October.

Should find out more next week, when I nip over to Spain.
