    In the full expectation that it's a scam, but in the vague hope that the
    seller is a clueless ebay noob, I took a punt on this item, using a
    disposable account, and won.

    If I can get the seller to agree, is anyone in the Bradford area willing to
    do a local pickup and post it on?

    Obviously funds will be transferred up front (Paypal or bank transfer) with
    enough to cover expenses and the refreshment of your choice.
