Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Martin Heh. There's a *world* of difference between my hacking and real, proper, grown-up engineering. (There's a very good reason I won't work to deadlines...). But thanks for the thought! :^) -- Wicked Uncle Nigel - Manufacturer of the "Champion-105" range of rearsets and Ducati Race Engineer. "Work on the California Coast, minutes from the Pacific Ocean, 65 to 75 degree temps year round. CRG is housed in a rural environment, 30 minutes North of Laguna Seca Raceway and the Monterey Peninsula." Would be reason enough for me. Now where do I learn CNC'ing. -- Martin: "For a minute there, you bored me to death." In uk.rec.motorcycles, Martin amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom: I got an "offer" to do lorry driving in Canada for a racing team going all over the American continent - paid work, paid accommodation etc etc but they wanted Class 1 drivers. Arse.
Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Martin I *could* go to San Diego if the mood were upon me. Logistically it would be a nightmare. And Mrs WUN would not be impressed. And I don't think I could live under their political system and not go postal. If you find out, be sure and let me know, eh? -- Wicked Uncle Nigel - Manufacturer of the "Champion-105" range of rearsets and Ducati Race Engineer. In uk.rec.motorcycles, wessie amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom: Well I've got the qualifications and experience but I lack the class 1 bit.
But you passed your HGV (articulated?) licence recently didn't you? What's the difference to Class 1 then? And why not go for it anyway? -- Martin: "For a minute there, you bored me to death." In uk.rec.motorcycles, Martin amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom: Nope. The rules have changed. You have to do your class 2 first (rigid up to 30 tonnes) which is the one I did and passed. Class 1 is the artic. 'Cos I can only drive 30 tonners and with the licence I have atm, any trailer cannot weigh more than 750kg.
In uk.rec.motorcycles, wessie amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom: There's nothing wrong with my eyesight, I wouldn't have got a medical if there was.
In uk.rec.motorcycles, Ben Blaney amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom: www.gumtree.com Not glamourous but true.

Christofire emerged from their own little world to say <reprising yesterday's "joke" as he seems to have missed it> No, he's in a class of 1
