Have you ever done the Chepstow - Usk - Abergavenny run?

Tried it late this afteroon - almost zero traffic, lots of twistyness.
Great fun. Almost got rid of my chicken strips on the new tyres :)

Going to try the Wye valley road next time, though.

    Yesterday :)

It's very pleasant in hot weather as some of the road is under the shade of
    trees.

I had something to do in Monmouth so my route home was the Trellech road
"over the top" to Chepstow then the road you mention.

The Trellech road, B4293, is much better than the A466 Wye Valley route.
Views are nicer and it has less traffic. If you travel from Chepstow to
Monmouth then the view from Lydart down to where the Wye and Monnow merge
    is superb.

    Noted, I'll have a look.

Thinking about it.... we haven't had a South Wales run for a month or so
now. Maybe we should do one on Sunday?

I don't have anything in the diary so yes.

We could do the road to Chepstow, then "over the top" to Monmouth for a
fag/coffee break. Then head north along the English Welsh border for a pub
    lunch near Hay on Wye?

It's not far home from there or we could do a circuit in the Brecons if
people want to go further afield.

Sounds like a plan to me.

One of us had better do a new post for it, though.

Okay, I'll DFV one on Wed/Thurs. 10am from Aber too early for you?

We could invite some of those foreigners from over the water to meet us at
    Chepstow.
