    After weeks of trying I have finally won an ebay auction for a bass guitar
    amp, it would be on the south coast wouldn't it!

    <From seller:>
    I can deliver to a reasonable distance from Portsmouth if you pay my petrol.
    Dimensions 63.5cm.w 36cm.d 65cm.h
    </fs>

    Not given the logistics much thought but was wondering if anyone could get
    it up as far as North London or Milton Keynes in exchange for beer tokens
    otherwise I will ask him to come as far north as he can and I will drive
    down to meet.

    Any offers/advice (pertinent to my request) appreciated

    Royal mail standard parcels carry up to 20kg relatively cheaply.
    Don't tell me, the ebay ad said local pick up only ;-)

    Monz was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
    If it can find its way to me I can stick it in a corner here until you
    can pick it up.

    North London / Barnet area.

    This amp will end up on an impressive list of tour dates at this rate.

    Does it go up to 11 Monz?

    Hi mate, i'm in North Hampshire so i'm prolly closer than most, but
    it'll cost him to drive up here if he's going to sting you for petrol
    money. Might be easier to get him to post it if the postage is £17.

    I can get it up to MK/Bedford fairly easily as I go up there
    frequently-ish.

    Cheers,

    Paul.
