You know how you were talking about another outfit? Item 130086382530 You know you want it... -- platypus "Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative."
Oooohhhh!
Is it possible that you've never actually owned an example of this particular POS? I mean, it even made the XS400 look good... -- _______ ..'_/_|_\_'. Jeez ... IIRC these were particularly sluggardly and worse than shite .... Gawd only knows how slow it'd be with a chair attached. Though I guess it'd improve the handling immensely.
Is it possible that you've never actually owned an example of this particular POS? I mean, it even made the XS400 look good...
By CB500T values of good it's probably ok. Quite an interesting bike from a tech POV.
Dunno about the 'auto' version. I did a Geoff Crookbain racing school at Mallory on CB400s many, many years ago. One or two people did fall off in places you wouldn't really expect given the speeds they were doing.
In message That would be adequate value for £499. And I've not had an outfit for a couple of years now...
Though I just spotted this bit ... "I considered fitting a steering damper but decided it wasn't necessary." .... and had a bit of a cold sweat and a horrible flashback
OFFS. You'll have to have a go on the Ural, and cure yourself of this phobia. It is tranquil and almost Zen-like in its docility and ease of control. -- platypus "Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative."
I'm sure it is; it's just that the K75 with misaligned ST2 shook like it had a fleet of Harleys strapped to the (short) bars. Don't worry, the Urinal's on the to-do list
....and you've tarred all outfits with the same brush ever since? That's what you think. "Urinal" indeed. -- platypus "Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative."
"Once you have got the hang of it, it makes for very leisurely riding" Yep, dog slow is what he means.
