    What should an 04 black/grey gixxer 1000 6100 miles VGC fetch? It's got a
few extras such as rg racing bungs, gear indicator, double bubble,
    alarm/immobiliser.

  3. About 5250-5400 privately, I'd have thought. You'd be better off
flogging the gear indicator separately, as well. I suppose a dealer
would ask something over six grand.

It looks very likely I'll be off to Sydney for a while. I'm considering
flogging the gixxer and buying something out there.

It's all I've been hearing. Everyone's saying how great it is but they never
have a reason for why they don't live there. It's all a con I reckon.

I was talking to an Irishman in his late 40s yesterday than had been there
on holiday and had been trying to get back ever since. He almost cried with
    jealousy.

  11. It's a great city. I worked out there for a month or so. I don't live
there because I'm not brave enough to make such a big move - that's my
    answer.

  13. It suffers a bit from Big-City-itis, especially if you lived out
in the suburbs as I did (I still have my home-unit in Liverpool; check how
far that is from the CBD). Downtown may be better now they've put in a
few more ring-roads and tunnels, but I didn't enjoy riding there and
nearly had a heart-attack the day I had to drive a car around it.
Traffic in Sydney is (was) *very* aggressive, you daren't hesitate for a
    millisecond.

Like Bear, I don't live there now because no-one's offered me a
job, but I could always try to kick out the tenants and move back any time
    I wanted.
