Are you buying them, then, and if so, frames & boxes, or just boxes?
Or is someone going to vet them at the pub?

Weeeeelll, I was hoping I could bung 'em back to you if I can't get them
to fit, or just the frames if the ones from WUN work.

  4. If I come on the bike then I'll just let TOG follow me to your gaff to
drop them off as you're spitting distance from the pub.

Subframe permitting, I should be there.

Looks like I'll be in the car. My toe's proper fucked so there's a fair
chance I'll be in slippers or sandals.

And very nice it was too. An excellent Sunday roast.

After declining ogden's offer of a trundle to Wantage, it being in
totally the wrong direction, I went down the A339 to Newbury. And then
then decided to continue along the A339 to Alton - God, I *love* that
road[1] - and then back home along the B3349 to Odiham, Winchfield and
Hartley Wintney, finishing off with a nice Eeeeek! mph along the
    straight bit by Blackbushe airport.

[1] It's bendy and double white lines, and I did try to be good but
when the line of traffic I was in starting getting to 25mph due to an
old codger in a Fiesta I had to take action. Lovely and clear once I
got out to fast sweepy bits at Herriard & Lasham though!

It was good to see the quality & service didn't suffer too much during
the busy Sunday lunch period, as often happens.

C'mon, it was in totally the wrong direction for me too. Didn't stop me
    doing it both ways.

Time constraints what with my having promised to Do Jobs when I got
back meant that instead of doing Wantage and back followed by a schlep
down the M4 I got to do a 100% non-motorway journey back. And I *love*
    the A339[1]

[1] have I said that already?

    Sucks to be you.

I had a glorious ride back as far as Maidenhead. After that it was
mostly 40 limits (couldn't face the M4 again on that bike).

By the time I got home I felt like I'd been buggered with a barbed-wire
    dildo. Comfy seat that.

Seconded. They serve a decent pint there, as well. Well recommended as
a better choice than Chieveley Services, which is all of two minutes
    away.

Yep - for those times when we're travelling back from somwhere West and
know that we won't be arsed to cook when we get in, it's a good option
to have (although ordering from Domino's when 20mins from home is
    another one!)
