As per subject, 2003 Ducati ST4s, Red, 43335 miles.

Last service was a Full 2 year on 26/6/2009 at Ducati dealer 37922 miles
    which included replacement of clutch.

Condition: been to the Elefantrentreffen and back.

    Location Edinburgh.

If you are still interested in an ST4s this will be a bargain.

I'll try and take some photographs sometime this week.

Both ;-) It actually survived the road salt a lot better than I was
expecting, probably due to the Scottoiller FS 365 corrosion protector.
It'd still need a good going over by Lozzo to bring it back to a
    pristine condition.
Heh, you become reliant on technology that's for sure. I had printed out
the route for the outward journey as a precaution but forgot about the
return. Ended up doubling back on myself on the outskirts of Amsterdam
when I got confused about whether I was heading East or West.

I'll leave it but the price depends on whether it's got the luggage
    with it.

  7. What were you doing around Amsterdam? Or shouldn't I ask?

Freakin' 40K miles ? Starship mileage.

But there's a glimmer of interest from this quarter of the value ..

It's a good bike and I'd prefer to keep it but Global Thermonuclear war
has broken out with my ex and the bike was on the front line at the
    start of hostilities.
Try your luck, you might be pleasantly surprised at what I'd be willing
to accept, distressed sale and all that ;-)

Clearly that bang to your head has affected your memory, I live in the
frozen wastelands of the north of British Isles so was trying to catch a
    ferry from IJmuiden to Newcastle.

    Hmm. In that case...
    I'll give you 200 quid for it[1].

(then sell it back to you when the war's over - for 200 quid).

[1] You'd be amazed at how little my MV was worth when hostilities
    broke out.

At least Ijmuiden doesn't have a similarly-named twin a few hundred
    miles down the coast.

Heh, I had the computer voice from War Games in my head when I typed
that, just knew it would be Ogden with the reply.

I can't imagine anyone less suited to own that bike. Except perhaps
    Zymurgy.

It would be almost perfect for Tog, if only he had the balls for it.

    Couple more of it here
    www.flickr.com/photos/15262772@N00/sets/72157624878981039

It's an outstanding bike, handles amazingly well solo or 2 up with full
panniers. Realistic top speed is 155, like any 996. The performance in the
50-120 A-road range was about the same as a GSXR750.

Was it because we were doing Wargames references a mere couple of days
    ago?

I watched it again at the weekend. Classic film.
