Paging TOG: Triumph battery question

    I had no idea I was so influential :)

    A bulk discount would certainly have been nice, especially at 60 quid a pop.

    Was going to try my topped-up and recharged battery for the last time this
    morning (new one due in midweek), but there was a hint of rain in the air
    (since realised) and I used the car instead. Yeah, yeah, oright... <ducks>

    Just had a call from John Harris of Crowborough to say my new battery has
    arrived. It seems the original estimate of 60 quid was wildly pessimistic:
    he's just told me the price is £34.31 which is a bit more like it. Phew!
