<G> Works like a charm. Mind you the s/w with it was a bit naff for batch scanning, so I got my hands on VueScan which is quite handy. Any other recommendations would be gratefully accepted. Now my other question to the font, is what photo editing program is the best (and easiest) for editing numpties like myself?
Actually Vuescan is the one I like best as well - I bought a copy for use with my 5400... The other one that people seem to like is Silverfast. I don't like the way they tie it to a scanner model, though, at it's considerably more expensive than Vuescan if you want one that works with any scanner they support. Well, The Gimp is free, but I don't find it that great - but then again, you can find out for the cost of a download if you get along with it. I do like Photoshop, so I went and got myself Photoshop Elements, which does most of what you need and doesn't cost a lot. I recently got CS2 as a replacement so I actually have Elements 3 going begging.

Do we? Oh. It must be added by the motzarella server. This post won't have it as I've switched back to the virgin one.
Cool ! Tis a nice bit of kit that screen. I'm rather liking its replacement as well : http://atschool.eduweb.co.uk/brownie/mon.jpg ;-)
