Well, it appears the dreadful secret is out now[1], and for that
reason it looks like I'll have to visit Wales soonish.

For that, I'd need some local knowledge - basically I'm looking for a
grave, ca 1908. That'll be the great-great grandparents then, if I
counted correctly. The question obviously would be - where do I start
looking in Brecon? Any chance that this grave would still exist? For
obvious reasons I won't post their name here...

[1] I have some sheep shaggers lurking amongst my ancestry.

    Cool.

Mail me with the dates and I can sort you out with somewhere to stay.

We're only around 25 miles from Brecon.
I think this is one for Wessie's local knowledge, but I might be able to
help - further details would be helpful, though. (Email)
    Unlucky ;-)

SteveH was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
    Will do.
I will, as and when. Most of the info I've got is from the 1901 census
but I'm currently digging up a little bit more.

    They're the harmless part.

If you could tie the people down to a particular faith then that would
help. Baptist, Methodist, RC as well as Anglican have a following in the
    area.

    http://www.churchinwales.org.uk/swanbrec/churches/mapbrecon.html lists
the Anglican churches in the area.

Brecon itself is not a very big place so there will not be many
cemetries in the town itself. However, as the link suggests, there are a
large number of villages nearby, each with its own cemetry.

Personally, if you do not have anything other than a name and date, then
start with the parish records in what is now Brecon Cathedral. The
office there should be able to tell you if any land has been
    deconsecrated in the last century.

If you need help with directions then let me know and I'll try to help.

    What reasons are they then?

I honestly can't think of any; grave desecration is a bit paranoid and if
you're worried that some Timo related incantation will cause South Wales
    to slip into the Bristol Channel I'm pretty sure it'll prove unlikely;
    however entertaining.

  8. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Timo Geusch
Why not; they're dead, I hope.
