You may have heard of it elsewhere, but I thought a few of you might
be interested in this thread on Pistonheads ...

You can ignore the fact that it's 110 pages long (ATM) and just skip
the (mostly) dross between posts by the OP.

Well worth an hour or so to read.

If you'd rather skip 1400 teenage cage owners saying 'WOH' you can
condense it neatly into the guy's blog at:
    http://gardenbunker.blogspot.com/

5 mins beats 110 pages imo.

I thought it was more exciting reading it as a thread, TBH.

That's a very fair point, it does carry the excitement of the tunnelers
fairly well, but since after 110 pages they still didn't lift the false
floor and that there's evidently more bits to uncover it sort of has a
    disappointing end as it stands.
    BEST THRED EVA! etc.

Dunno, I've been flipping through the pages, searching on posts by the
OP and some guy called JerseySi to just get the jist of the story. I
    think it's interesting.

It would be quite fun to find a 60' tunnel under your garden. Think of
the stuff you could put in it.
