Paging the South Wales lot

    I need to get some new combats and stuff..... any idea where the local
    army surplus stores are?

    Yellow pages doesn't show anything.

    Searching on yell.com for Surplus Stores in South Wales returns:

    If you know what size you are in army terms, try looking on eBay, you can
    get some stuff quite cheap. I just got an ex army gortex smock for just over
    £20.

    The army has it's own sizing terms?

    I guess I'd probably be "wimpy".

    They appear to do it in cm instead of inches, and give 3 measurements for
    each item, but I was more referring that two pairs of jeans, quoted as the
    same size from two separate companies will be different. So unless he knows
    what size he is in army gear, he'd be better going and trying some on
    instead of guessing off eBay.

    Good plan. I know I'll be OK for combats, 'cos they're more or less all
    made by the same company (if you're buying proper ones, IYSWIM).
