Paging the Pannisti

Two Pan questions:

- What's the exhaust system of choice? Mine's currently got the Motad
stainless header/quickrust silencers on and I'm rather
unimpressed. And that's taking into account that I've got another set
of Motad silencers in the loft which the PO got under warranty as the
other had started rotting after 9 months, ffxsake.

- Recommended brake pads for the ABS model? It looks like it wants new
pads before my German jaunt in two weeks' time as I'm not too keen on
using the backing plate as friction material.

Honda genuine every time. I've tried after-market pads on mine and they
aren't as good; They don't last as long and don't stop as well. The
Honda ones last (on mine) exactly 16000 miles and the fronts and backs
wear out together. They seem to match the combined system best IMHO.

Well, Motad told the PO that the corrosion of the system was unusual
and out of order which is why they sent him another set of
silencers. Let's see how these fare then.

Ah, but the silencers aren't stainless steel, they've got some pretty
pants black coating on them and merrily rust away underneath. And that
was *before* I got the bike...
