Paging the offroad fans.

Weston beach races this weekend.
This annual event attracts more entrants than any other, great fun.
Around a thousand bikes, loads of noise, thrills and spills on
a course of bulldozed sandhills.

I'm still planning to attend this year's Bonfire Burnup. Last year's was
cancelled, the year before I don't think it was on at all and the year
before that I missed it by a week. I haven't been since the early 90s
and it's a great day's racing.

Could be worse [1] and a hundred notes an hour is, well, a hundred notes
an hour. And I'll be in bed with a laptop.

[1] I'm meant to be going to the TT and Glastonbury next year, but my
presence is required to provide on-site support for an event that's
going on at the same time. I'm having to fight quite hard to keep Plan A
alive.
