I was kind of hoping for an SP start myself to be honest. The tea and
biccies (in those *great* teapots) *rock* [1]

Anyway, could you let me know the info as in time of start and route etc? I
think you have my email addy for that from the great MOT escapade. How did
that go by the way? Did you find them as friendly and helpful as I do?

[1] I know. Easily pleased, me. Low expectations and all that...

Me too! Seems like you might pass our house, so I would rather join you
near Preston (vicinty of Lancs Constabulary HQ?)
Am I right or a maringue?

We've got some new ones in, plain white though so not as nice to look
    at.
Well, I, er, never got around to it. I used the bike today to get to
Oulton and back but I really will have to get it sorted this week.

I could take Friday pm off work I suppose.
A lot of people are impressed with them, so you aren't alone. ;o)

Arr, yes. I used to work in another pub in Waterloo a few years ago
now, the then landlord decided to try pastures anew and ended out at a
pub/restaurant not far from there (no idea of the name of it) which the
Lancs Constabulary used to use for various things, and obviously
    frequent.

We went up there one evening by coach, and Dave got us all pissed.
Which wasn't a good idea for me 'cos I was on crutches. It's hard to
make a fast bee-line for the loos when you need to in that state.

Thanks for that, and you could have had a go, had circumstances been
different (ie had I not already sold it).
Back to the ride .. will the gang be passing Lancs Const HQ or not?

I'll let you know soonest, I fancy trying to go a different (hopefully
Gatso-free) route rather than risk Preston.

I don't blame you. Apparently the camera 200 yds from our house into
Preston has quite a record in the NW for the number of NIP's it
    generates (2 to me!).

Aww. Do you get an extra biccie if you get a plain white one?)
Book one for first thing Saturday morning maybe? Unless your planning a
really early start for this proposed run?

You get to choose your biccies if I'm working anyway ;o)
I know, but I find it *so* hard to crawl out of my pit in the morning.
