Yeah, that's probably why she keeps changing husbands - looking for one
    with a full cock.

Oh, yes. Bt, DT a few times. There was a trend in my banger racing
days, to wear Tshirts with legends such as "I've rolled it again, dear"
and "This Way Up" and "If found, fill with beer": the last one is
irrelevant in this context, but it was mine.

Saved by.....travelling auto electrician. Trevor. £50 to rip the fucker out
no matter who put it in.

I wonder if he does a lot of that in the wee early hours too!

  7. No it fucking wasn't. Blatantly obvious to those who give enough of a
**** about cages to do anything other than skim read the multiplicity of
cage threads that abound in this here newsgroup maybe but not everyone.

OK blatantly obvious to everyone else who replied. Better?

  11. My six foot four mate had a go in my fiancees Mark 1 and had no problems
fitting in. Headroom was ok even with the hardtop on. Of course
nothing looks gayer than two blokes in an MX-5.

  12. I wouldn't bother with PAS. You don't need it in a car that light, it
takes away feel and it is another thing that can go wrong. Plus it
    weighs more.

  13. Or the Eunos front wheel drive sporty hatchback thing we got here in
Australia. Can't remember the model number.

Who was that with? - I'm struggling a bit here, my current insurers
wanted £500.... compared with the £190 they insured the modded Fiat for.

Comparethemarket and Confused are useless for stuff like this, too.

Even my usual classic insurer, Lancaster, who are really cheap on the
Alfa are quoting £HFM for a Eunos.

Yes, and the only one who would quote online obviously didn't want my
    business.

Given that a UKRMer has already secured a very low quote, it would be
handy to know who it was.

Try A-Plan, their special vehicles section was very good at insuring
Japanese cars for me, but not so much for the rest of the vehicles.

Mine's insured via Footman James, but to get their special rate you have
to be a member of the MX5OC - which costs 30 odd quid. Still a saving
compared with what Saga (yes you read it right) wanted at renewal after
the first year with them. You have to get a phone quote for a Eunos
    though.

Looks like a Eunos isn't going to happen - £382 FC is the cheapest I can
    get anywhere.

Which is fucking madness for a low risk area, with 13 years NCB.

It's more than the 156 costs for 10k miles / year and my 75 is under
£180 / year FC on a classic policy.

Don't know why the Eunos is so mad, but my old Fiat Spider was pennies
    to insure.

Mine (UK MX5) was £219 last renewal, but that's an old gimmer with 10
years NCB for TPF&T and 3000 miles only, pretty bad post code though I
suspect and not garaged (though off the road overnight). It's not worth
much and would be a write off after any significant bump anyway so I
    don't bother with FC.
