    (The Older Gentleman) gurgled happily,
sounding much like they were saying:
What IS this? Gang up on me day?

How do you know? Have you ever tried?

Anyway, I reckon you could get as many notes out of a diff casing as
you can your pukka, stringed banjo.

    That's your cross to bear.
Dunno. Some devious means of attracting the female of the species,
    perhaps?

    Down the cleavage, obviously.
That's the question. She's currently in training and is the Great
White Welsh Hope for the Middleweight Boxing gold medal in the
Olympics. Killer right cross, you know.

And there rests my point about getting as many notes out of a diff
casing as you can out of your banjo.

  10. I'll have you know there are many notes that if I wanted I could get out
of my banjo, I just choose to save some for later.

    Oh, yes it is.
What two cars? The MX-5 and the Eunos? What layout do you think the
    Miata has?
Let me inform /you/: "The MX-5, also known as Miata (pronounced
/mi'??t?/) in North America and Eunos Roadster in Japan" ... that is
the opening line from the Wikipedia entry.

There is only one car, right - the MX-5. The Eunos is an MX-5 produced
for the home market, in Japan. The Miata is an MX-5 produced for the
    North American market.

Jordan is just your usenet handle, right? You're Katie Price, aintcha?

  14. Like children. Oh, perhaps not. They're small and springy, really.

You *may* be thinking of the Fiat Barchetta, which *is* FWD.

    <UKRM Ultra Pedant Mode>
Perhaps he was thinking of a late Eunos 'x00'? Steve H didn't specify
    'Roadster'.[1]
    </UUPM>

[1]Pretty obvious by the context though so a spectacular fail in
    comprehension.

And strangely, holding value better than the MX5, even though it's the
    inferior car.

Rarity value? 900,000 'MX5s' built so far, and many high mileage
    examples still going strong.

It was blatantly obvious to everyone else that the OP was comparing the
MX5 to the Eunos Roadster, not the Eunos saloon. If you think the Eunos
Roadster is FWD then you're as clueless as the KwikFit muppet who told
me my Alfa was FWD whilst tilting his head to avoid bashing it on the
    rear diff.

Your next post should probably be along the lines of: "Ah, mea culpa, I
    is mostly a fuckwit".

Pretty sure he's thinking of the Eunos saloon.
