Right, gonna get one for a weekend motor..

Do Eunos go for less money than genuine UK MX5

    Whats the difference if any?

Found a cracking 1993 sepcial with leather etc, mint for £1500, BRG etc

    What to look for?

Already sourced a turbo kit :)

What else to really look for?

Rust, and a knackered hood, from what I've seen.

Eunos is generally higher spec[1], & has an odd sized hole for the
    stereo.
Something else as you won't fit in a Eunos/MX5, remember?
Really something else as you really won't fit in a Eunos/MX5, remember?
Oh, & make sure it's a 1.8 if you want to get the back out in 3rd
    without using the handbrake.

[1] As in OEM stuff like aircon, but also more likely to have extra
toys. Mine had a stainless Mazda sports exhaust, induction kit,
    cross-brace & Koni adjustable shocks.

I fit in them quitre well for short journeys, which is what want it for,
    roughly 2 miles round :)

I found the 1.8 a fucking crap engine compared to the 1.6, bolt a turbo
    on, jobs a good 'un?

Rust. Leaking/torn roof, misted up rear window. Rattly tappets (oil not
changed frequently enough or too thick). Clutch slip (mine went at about
110K miles). Sills full of water. Sticking/broken electric windows.
Dodgy alarm. Duff battery. "Idle drop" - easily fixed, car can stall as
you eg. come up to a junction. Front brake calipers - seals, and they
can easily rust up and seize too.

Are some of the common faults that I'm aware of. (I have most of those
    issues).
