    I have here:
    http://i772.photobucket.com/albums/yy7/sloukes/rack.jpg
a Ventura rack and a Harley V-Rod sissy bar. I need to merge the 2
into 1 so that I can carry 2 weeks worth of stuff on the Harley.
The Ventura rack is steel tube and the sissy bar is solid steel.
Best I can think of is to get 2 bars welded across the Ventura
rack and then get the sissy bar welded to the 2 bars.
Anyone got a better suggestion? [1]
    Anyone any good at welding?

Yes - flog the sissy bar & use the proceeds to buy the Ventura side
    rails.

That would be a brilliant suggestion if only Ventura made such a
    thing.
They have them for a Street Rod , which is a totally different bike.

What have you got then? They list fitments for loads of Harleys on
    their website.

Ah , the curse of incomprehensible model names. No , mines a VRSCDX...
Hmm , a trip to Halfords for small U bolts might be in order , ta.

Ah. The only chrome I have is the handlebars.
Come to think of it , it doesn't say Harley Davidson anywhere anymore
    either.
