Need a hotel room for the evening of 14th June. 1 night.

I've trawled the usual online booking services for a couple of hours,
and there's SFA, nada, nothing available.

Anyone any other ideas ? central booking service, lifestyle coach ? :-/

    Cheers

    Paul.

Arze, so there is. Fecker was fully booked 2 hours ago ...
There's a gay village [1], (resists an 'i'll be buggered' interjection
here) but not sure if that's local.

Whereabouts in the city? If you're near Picadilly station the Uni of
Manchester has the "Manchester Conference Centre" which might be able
    to do you a room.

    http://www.meeting.co.uk/dayshotel/bedroom rates.htm

Rooms are likely to be boxy and not large unless they've changed since
I was last there, albeit on the student halls side of the building.
Fantastic showers though, and the chef is a star.

    Ah.

If you don't mind travelling to Liverpool you could use the spare room
    here for the night.

    Novotel Manchester West.
Next to the M60, but quiet.

    <http://www.novotel.com/novotel/JSPV...rivee=2005&key_attribute_ecran=liste_produit>

Downside...... I'm about 20 minutes away..

Upside... so is Chris and I'll be dossing down someplace near Maidstone,
or thereabouts [1], for a short run to the ferry. (I want to avoid the M25
    between 7am and 9).

[1] Thanks for the offer, Petrolcan, but the M25 is a bit scary in the
    mornings! =:-0 [2]
[2] Any suggestions for a cheap place to kip, between the M25 and Dover?
