We used to have office *right* on the riverbank in Maidenhead. The power
sockets were 3 feet from the floor.

Not looking much better here in Marlow TBH.

There are perks to living at the top of a hill. Supposed to be heading
to Didcot this evening which'll be fun if it keeps raining like this.

All escape routes from your old office now appear to be under water.

Still, the ChavRocket seems reasonably capable at fording streams for
    something so French

He's one of my customers. He was chatting about rowing the other day
    and I thought of you.

I can categorically state that everybody else in rowing pronounces it like
    rough sack-cloth

    Diesel particulate filter clogged perhaps.
They need to run hot to burn off the soot and if it's too wet this doesn't
happen , so you need to take a long drive at reasonably high speeds in the
    dry to clear it

What is this "diesel" of which you speak?

Sorted itself out after I revved the engine a bit and rebooted the engine

There's blue sky over Slough, at the mo, although I can see next
    wave[1] of weather coming in.

    [1] pun intended.

I've just been for a wander round town with wellies on and a camera in
tow. No flooding anywhere, just a few puddles, rain's pretty much
stopped, and not a single stranded motorist to laugh at.

Is our resident workaholic mobile guru working today? Sounds like his
place resembles a low-lying area of Bangladesh atm.

You want glumness? We're at Brands this weekend, on the GP circuit.
Wtf couldn't we have had sunshine for one of the best meetings of the
    year?

  19. Pah, stop your pathetic mithering. Shouldn't you be on the way to
    Chimay?

M40 closed at Brum, and the main road near us is down to single
carriageway - still coming down hard here.

It got so wet here, that I sent some money to New Labour. I'm hoping
that they'll make me a pier.
