It's probably just as well it was overcast for totality last night,
otherwise I'd have been at risk of red/green cheese blindness.

Nah - completely wrong there, the clouds came out and it did (disappear,
    that is)

(power cut at 11pm, came back on at 2:30, together with lights, so I
thought **** it, I might as well take a look)

  7. Au contraire my dear sir. I've always been on the skinny side (and
still am - my BMI is right in the NHS 'desirable' range..).

    And that's pre-arthritis and diabetes.

The only time I bloomed up to > 13st (and I'm about 6 foot tall) was
when I worked at Windriver and the fizzy drinks were free. 6-8 full-fat
Cokes a day don't half make you out on the fat..

Bizarre. In my mind's eye, you look like an oversized Bill Bryson in
    sandals.

wasnt bad here in NJ too.

however, todays uncivilised snow is a right PITA.

especially as I'm meant to be on a flight to the UK in <counts> four
    hours.

having phoned virgin they say its still on time. the flight before it
arrived in the UK three hours late which is better than the one before
    which was cancelled completely.

No, I intend to continue with my policy of bending it to fit my

I'm sure this quote from my other sig has slipped though to UKRMa few
    times:

"Do not adjust your mind, there is a fault in the reality."
