Is there a Southen Area UKRM Annual Barbeque?

I remember a couple of events in Rye sponsored by prawn where wet
sausages were on offer but do we normally have a proper barbeque?

If we don't then I would like to propose an UKRM Open House event:

    "BGN's BGBBQ"

....to be held somewhere this year when it's warm or even hot.

    Good idea, bad idea?

Just East of Camber. Where that ship ran aground last year or the year
    before.

I've found Jurys Gap Road in Camber on AutoRoute. I think I know
where you mean. IIRC it's a 'sand' car park - which would be creative
for motorbike and motorbike parking/laying down.

We could probably go past it and have a look at the area on the BotM
run at the end of this month.

A bit of a paradox considering...

  15. It's a pebble beach except when the tide goes out. Sand racing, anyone?

The car park is free, too.

    On Mon, 6 Mar 2006 19:12:04 +0000,
I'll have a check on our World Temperature Guide at work to find an
average Saturday when it's statistically likely to have sun and not
rain and then set date for sometime in June or August or summut. I'm
not sure when the school holidays are so I'm uncertain if one should
plan to have formal 'kiddies invited' arrangement just to keep the
    numbers up or what, really.

I dunno how many peepers are likely to attend, so I'm not sure if it's
going to be "Bring Your Own BBQ" affair or otherwise. Rest assured
that I have my St. Anselm's Catholic Comprehensive School Cooker
Awareness Certificate to hand should anyone doubt my ability to
organise and execute a UKRM event.

If you want any BBQ fodder just let me know. It'll need to be eaten on
the day as it'll gone soft/defrosted by the time it reaches camber.

If they want their children to have a serene sheltered upbringing and
be emotional spastics then they should leave them in their glass
bubble at home and not bring them to a UKRM event. I was brought up
surrounded by a varied cast of characters with a selection of Bavarian
languages and phrases being thrown around while being weaned on Sci-Fi
Horror films like Alien and I turned out perfectly normal.
Excellent. Now all we need is a date, source of ignition and a
    shopping trolley.
