Not I. Apropos the quake: my cats were fucking useless and slept through
the whole thing. I though they were *supposed* to warn of impending doom.
    The useless cunts.

Question is if the epicentre (as reported) was out in the Dover Straits
where did the Tsunami end up ?

Really? I heard that is was ~ 12 miles south of Canterbury. Best let
the seismologists chew their beards for a while for a more definitive
    answer.

USGS says it was a couple of miles out at sea off of Dymchurch. The
map on Europe & Med GS says it was inland in Dynchurch.

But that was 6.6 miles below the ground. Not sure how it all works
and why it was most evident in Folkestone. Might do go up diagonally
    or whatever I suppose.

*If* it was, then I suspect there may be the odd subterranean rail passenger
who has discovered that adrenalin is brown and smelly.

  8. I didn't feel it here in Ramsgate. Reminds me of that oft-posted appeal on
behalf of a disaster fund appeal, usually for Essex. Sunny D etc.

Not me, and as mentioned above, I didn't fire up the Ducati either.

  10. Two appeals apparently. Must be a Sod's law thing that mistakes are never
spotted until the post's been sent.

    Nope, it's still in bits...

Need to get my arse in gear and order the correct throttle cable so I
can put it back together and get it down to a specialist to sort out
    the rear swingarm bearings.

  13. Cats - working for a living? You'll be 'aving a larf.

Anyway - it's dogs and horses that are supposed to warn of earthquakes
I think. You know - servile creatures..
