I own 3 watches, but I can hand on heart say I cannot recall wearing
any of them in at least 3 years. I think the last time I wore the flash
one was about 6 or 7 years ago.

Yes. Your mark is related to the answer to the previous question.[/QUOTE]

Mate, you ride a HD. You shouldn't even be in your own thread.

For some daft reason I dragged my old Levi's jacket out for a trip to
    Tesco last night.

Hmmm, Harley davidson, Skoda, Tag heuer...

A mate of mine has owned an expensive self winding Breitling for about
5 years now. He's had it serviced three times in that period at some
horrendous cost each time and still, it loses 5 minutes a day.

On occasions when I wear a watch I want to know the time.
Give me cheap, tacky (and accurate) quartz, any day.

I have a 30 year old automatic Garrard; I've had it serviced once (£45 by
the old boy jeweller locally) in the last 2 years and it keeps excellent
    time.

  19. [C} Buy a Rolex.

Mine has been serviced only twice in 30 years and it not only looks like new
but keeps within 2 minutes over a month.

  20. Absolutely. Both my watches, and the clock on the mantlepiece, are
    clockwork.

As for the rest - buy another strap, you pikey. Or a Swatch.
