Cheeky bugger, just because I was ill. Anyway, I recall we went through 7 bottles on Friday night, and that was before you lot went clubbing.
Quite a bit is wrong if you want to be REALLY picky. It is usually bad form to have a comma before a conjunction such as 'and' or 'but'. The easiest way to 'fix' this kind of problem is to use a full stop instead of a comma and delete the conjunction. This creates two shorter sentences. Deleting the conjunction may, in some circumstances, result in a need to rephrase one or both of the new sentences. In this example the first section lacks a verb. Splitting the sentence into two sentences will require a verb to be added to the first section. The grammatical status of "OK" is uncertain as it is a slang term but, if used, both letters should be capitalised. "OK" should be followed by either a comma, a full stop or an exclamation mark. The second section of the sentence contains redundant words and lacks a comma. The sentence could be re-written as follows: OK, that's no problem. If you could fax a copy, that would be extremely useful. OR OK, that's no problem. If you could send a copy by fax, that would be extremely useful. Tony
The thing that struck me was how windy it wasn't. I expected a blast of air to rush in, but it was really very pleasant.
