    I'm learning from ancient RD tapes - it's all old money.

    If I must...
    Offering a polished, 100% working alternator/generator (German doesn't
    make that distinction). Fits all CBX1000 models.
    This converted alt/gen provides 430W power and the alternator is driven
    by a steel disk/drive wheel and rubber cush drive.
    This conversion can be fitted within 15 minutes; no further changes are
    necessary and it can be put back to the original [alternator] anytime.
    Trouble with worn drive wheels and brushes are now a thing of the past. More
    power as well.
    Conversion comes with all fittings, fitting instructions and
    manufacturer's data.
    The usual warranty exclusion - UKRM translation: "This is a private
    sale, you buy it, doesn't work or want to send it back? Ye're fooked".

    Buy more crap off me and you may get a postage discount.

    Forgot all about it, and only checked Ebay again ten minutes after it
    had finished.

    Still, I can get a brand new one for less from the Yooessay anyway.

    I know that feeling too well - happened to me recently with a Morini
    2c. Felt like a right plonker, me.
    Sounds like a better choice then.

    Only *just* cheaper, mined ewe.

    It's effectively a ZZR1100 alternator in a custom casing to fit onto a
    CBX mounting plate. Charges all the time, no more shitty brushes
    wearing out every 3000 miles, and best of all, no silly bloody
    alternator clutch to shim, gap, re-shim, re-gap, etc., etc., etc.[1]

    Rattles begone. Electrickery aplenty.

    Then I can save up to get the carbs done, then a valve clearance
    check.

    I've decided, at last, that the CBX is a "keeper".

    [1] Which is a right pain if you have to remove the engine bars to get
    at it, which you do.
