  1. No danger of that in a Piaggio Ape.

  2. Hmf. Now that I hadn't noticed.

How come the original item was withdrawn, and a new seller has appeared
    from nowhere?

    Do I smell a kipper?

  6. The plot thickens. The new seller says it was advertised on a mate's PC
which got hacked and got him kicked off Ebay.

I've told him I would like a fuller explanation - silence.

    It smells even fishier.

Jeez TOG. You of all people should have spotted it. That'll be a pint
    you owe me.

  8. Have you got AA cover?

What would happen if the ape "broke down" and you needed a tow to get it
    home?

No, bike - after breakfast at Hartside. The van was on a bridge, and I
didn't get a close look. I assume it could have been radar plus a peek
at the number plate as we disappeared.

Ah... you should get Pat trained to lean back and stick her hand over
    the plate.

  16. I remember Ged trying that with the Jawa combo, and the bastards fixed
    it.....

  17. Original seller has got back to me and says that yeah, his machine was
hacked. I'm still steering way clear of it for the moment.

Simple: get TOG to post you his licence.

    Get stopped: brandish licence.

    Everyone's a winner.
