S'alright, they'll be too busy laughing at you and choking on a cloud of two
    stroke fumes, to book you...

  2. Ah. Shite. Um, oh well, I won't bid any further than. I'll wait for one
    closer to home.

Ah, no, he says payment in full and then he'll hold it until collection.
Isn't that what everyone does on Ebay when they're selling a vehicle?
    Silly man.

    They're not endorsable offences.

    Point of order, Brother Sweller.

Whilst you'll get away with no tax, (the now hefty burden of that
offence will fall upon the vehicle owner) - having no MoT ticket will
provide an excellent route for 3 points to be added to your licence, I
    believe.

Any one got a definitive answer? I know TOG'll be good for fines, but
I want to save the points for speeding. Anyway, it looks as though
it's only payment that needs to be done at a rush, in respect of which
I am, as ever, at TOG's service.

I've just measured the van - the ape is too tall by about 40cm. However,
removing its wheels may make it short enough.

But...once you take the wheels off the van, you won't be able to drive
    it!

If he'll hold it until the following weekend, I'm prepared to risk it
the lack of MoT if you're prepared to risk the lack of tax.

You'll owe me a huge favour for it, mind. *Huge*, I tell you.

Thanks anyway. If I win it, looks like it'll have to be one of those "we
    transport for 150 quid" jobbies.

Heh. You obviously didn't pass the radar at Hexham last weekend at the
same speed I did. Only another week to wait.

    Wimps.

I'm of a mind to go to Newcastle and drive the little fucker back for TOG.

    Because.

Mmmm. A "Quick Auction" and a newbie seller. This should be fun.

SWMBO thinks I'm a loony for volunteering to get it from Berwick to
Prudhoe - any further and she'd have me committed.

Where was it? A69 or A695? You should know better.

It's nice to know you can rely on some things.

A69 - and yes I should. If they were timing between the squares I
should be ok. If it was front-facing radar it'll be close.
