What did I tell you? He probably warmed up the engine just a tad so it
    would be easier to crank...

  2. Oh, while I was perusing the factory manual (dual-language), half a
dozen sheets of paper fell out,

They were *all* photocopies of wiring diagrams, or home-made electrical
    schematics, drawn in ballpoint.

I have a feeling that investigating the loom will be like opening the
door into a chamber of horrors Edison wouldn't have known how to handle.

But it all seems to work. For the moment.

  4. As it seems to work (ish) when hot, I'm inclined to agree.

At least it starts easily on the kick.

I'm more than happy to report that I've never come close to getting
    laid at a UKRM event.

I can see where you're coming from, but there used to be some lovely
girls at ukrm events. The standard's slipped a bit of late, mind, but
it's possible there are still some worth hoovering up.[/QUOTE]

Out of pure curiosity: How much is it for 1 Adult + Bike to do Dover-Calais
and back (staying 1 day abroad)
P&O quotes me 52,50 Euro, that should be around 35 Pound.
Trying to do so would give you a real hard time with regards to objective
    #1, I think

Yet I wonder why you chose the ferry, as they are giving me 36 Euro for a
return (24 Pound) with one overnight stay. (Apart from having something to
nice see, eat, drink, get a sun tan, and finally something to sit on except
    the floor)

I'd just like to know how much they make you pay more for the opposite
direction? (I do travel Calais-Dover-Calais of course.)

£8.40 for me, £35 for you.
If you travel from Calais to Dover you'll have additional problems
    reaching Sedan.

You've obviously been to some very different UKRM meets to me,
as the ones I attend usually end up with fat middle-aged men, either
balding or beardy, standing in a pub car park drinking warm beer
    and talking bollocks.

*sigh* More evidence that people in the UK are sue-happy. You can't
even call someone a fat, balding git any more.

    And bang-to-rights on the greying.

Can you let me know when the jury had come to a decision on ugly /
    retarded ?

    Cheers

  18. Could try removing it entirely. Worked for me when I had my vasectomy.
Shaved the whole (rather grey) lot off, and it's grown back as a lovely
    neat brown bush.
