No chance. He spent so much time moaning about the cold the first time
he turned up at the Black Horse there's no way he got laid.

  3. ****.

The electric start that worked yesterday now just goes *click*-whirrrr
    without engaging.

That's me off to the kitchen to find some bleach to tip in my eyes to
clear the horrible vision you've left me with.

    SNIP
Sounds par for the course. Needs the friction material on the throw-out
shoe jobbies roughening up. All kinds of bodges to be tried if you want.
On my electric start 3 1/2 sport I cross cut shallow slots on the
'linings' and centre punched the inside of the saucepan lid thingy to
    provide some grip.
Naturally they also requires a battery well charged enough to spin
everything round fast enough to function - more so than a conventional
    starter.

It's not that I wish to bicker with our undernourished and greying
Harry Potter facsimile, but it's not a mission to me, I've never been
to a gay bar. One just has to do with the scraps at hand.

It depends if you think you're undernourished.

Gosh, did I really type that?

But don't worry my dear, I like a bit of flesh on my men. Otherwise I

Well it was originally intended to be slightly more high tech.

Lambertini talking to Vic Willoughby: "In any case the aluminium
alternator motor on the right has a hefty steel rim. On the five-hundred
twin, teeth will be cut on this rim for the drive from the electric
    starter."

Lambertini must have a thing about weird starters though because the new
Moto Morini 1200 Corsaro appears to have something a bit odd in that
department. Apparently you hold the clutch in, press the starter button
just once and the motor turns over until it starts (or not as in the
case of the poorly fuel injection mapped early road test batch).
