Paging the Frankfurt fools

I is planning booking a room for the Friday night in Calais so giving me
all day Friday to get down to the chunnel and having a nice earlyish
start on the Sat for the 'race' down to Frankfurt. Having had a scoot
round the interweb and what's been posted here the Village Hotel seems
the best bet.

Close to the chunnel and it's only 28 euros for an up to 3 person room +
4 euro/person for an all you can scoff brekkie. I'll book it on the 24th
so if anybody wants a bed sorting let me know and I'll book you in at
the same time.

What train time are you looking at?

About 7:30ish in the evening, getting to the hotel about 9:00.

I've also been looking at hotels in Frankfurt and this one looks OK.

59 euro a room and it has a covered car park which is a bonus.

Not really bothered, if it doesn't make any difference to the price then
yes. If it means making a keen saving then no.

However I have found that the hotel in question is actually 20 miles from
Frankfurt so the search continues...

You want a ground floor room with "disabled access", **** working in a
cold garage when you've paid for a hot hotel room...

Yea, just read it. I'll send a note out to see how many definites there
are. If it helps I don't mind DFVing a hotel in Frankfurt for the hardy
few.
