Not sure the bike is soley to blame. It was much better for 120 mile
commutes round the M25 than the Triple was.

I genuinely enjoyed riding all my bikes, I just don't enjoy them enough
to get them out unless they are / were appropriate for the journey.

Wednesday. THere was a report on the local news a few days ago, about
them having the most expensive fuel in England - but we know how much
more they'll want in the Highlands, don't we?

Oops! No stations found selling Unleaded within 20 miles of ULLAPOOL!

Surprisingly, very few above ?1.30/litre for unleaded. Diesel is over
?1.40 here and there, but the Wing doesn't need that black gold.

I'd need a reason to do any serious mileage at a rate of 20 quid every
hundred miles, however.

 

Yeah, perhaps somebody ought to do something about something like that.
I would refer you to my remark above about redline fever, though.

 

I saw £1.37 for unleaded over in Essex somewhere between Brentwood and
Ongar just under two weeks ago.

I think I'm going to try and be strong, although I might got for a test.
It's a manual, which has advantages, but wasn't what I *was* going to buy.

It has blue leather interior, which is not my fave.

OTOH it only has 39k on it and is < £12K

Which is stupidly cheap. Granted it's a Cat D repaired (3 years back)
and so it'll never sell on at a high price, but I never buy a car for
the resale value.
