That would rather depend on your driving style I expect. But it's a
chance I may be willing to take.
    But last virtually for ever.
I really expected you to have done better research than that.

You're essentially buying a Ferrari for 2nd hand Brera money.

What can possibly go wrong? ;-)

Indeed. Better to be out regularly on an economical lightweight than
to be stuck at home counting the pennies.

With fuel prices going the way they are the days of the gas guzzler
    are numbered.

You're a lot closer than Aylesbury, and there's some nice ride-outs
    heading x-country towards Alton ..

the site relies on registered users reporting prices. I don't suppose
anyone in Ullapool uses the internet. There is a petrol station, or was
when I was there, and google streetview shows one. Note there's no sign
displaying prices. http://bit.ly/gyAWEk for the streetview.

Harumpf. I've been saving for a rainy day, and now it's starting to
pour. I got a nice top shelf rain suit and that rainy day money is
going to be spent. I will not go quietly into the sunset, I am going
to twist the throttle until this grin is petrified. To paraphrase the
FFFB, "Motorcycles will get you through times of no money, etc."

I think its part of fixing something that it always requires a blood
sacrifice. Certainly my tumble dryer did yesterday when it needed a
new belt. Those things really are a wonder of cheap pressed tin metal
    and plastic.

I knows this, I has been a registered user for a long time.
lol, you could well be right.
I thought there was, although it's been years since I was last there.
The site does give diesel prices, so it could be that the reg. users
only use diseasal. Suprised they aren't on red, up there.

I thought that just after I bought the Vectra (which was a bit of a
bargain, FDSH, two owners from new both of whom were known to me) and
unleaded went up to ?1.00 a litre. It became a patio ornament at that
point and I carried on driving my perfectly adequate and totally
reliable Pegeot 406 for another two years.

I know - hence my recent post about the A339 and B3349

It also gives me the option of stopping for a cup of tea with either my
    mum or my dad[1]

I realised only too recently that from my current area it's far better
to spend 30-40 mins on the M3 or M4 initially to get out of the crowded
local roads than to try not to use a M-way at all.

[1] Both still local to Alton.
