Anybody got a carb heating kit lying around that they'd like to sell?

Try Bike-Enders in Romford. Best Ducati breaker you'll find.

Oh, I dunno. Antonye seems to be making a fair fist of it.

Yep, Jim may well have one. If not try ebay. I'm not too
sure what the kit contains but I'm sure it's just an
extra oil line. If you need help try ducatisportingclub.com
as someone on there will know.

Float bowls with oilways, extra oil line, and a tap. Apparently.
I think the tricky thing will be working out which model's kit is most
appropriate, if there's any difference between the models.

    Hint: the *Ducati* is fuel-injected.

I could always swap the engines, but I suspect it might be noticed...

This is for the Elefant 900, right? IIRC, it's the 2V motor
which uses the Mikuni carbs, which were common on the 2V
across all Ducatis; both Monster and SuperSport. So really
any one of them will do.

Looks like there are still some new bits around:

I've put the parts catalog for the 900SS on the GMail drive
along with the workshop manual for you - the parts list
certainly has the oil feeds as I checked.

Yeah, sorry, it's 35Mb and GMail don't like files that big.
I'll split it into some .rar chunks and upload it tomorrow.
