  1. As is Monisha Bharadwaj's recipe for Indian Scrambled eggs with indian
style sausage (or chorizo as substitute).

  2. More likely that Mr Champion will remember it because of the company he
has taken there over the years.

If it is the place I have been to then the service is also somewhat
eccentric but certainly unforgettable. Oh and the food is great but
then I do remember good food and where I had it.

I am used to Mr Champion's little ways of dodging my snipes, hence the
qualification. I'm sure he would be reluctant to return if the food was
    unpalatable.
You need to check the bill too. A waiter knocked over a full carafe of red
wine. He immediately got another one but both were billed to my table. I've
pulled similar dodges in the licensed trade previously so it won't stop me
going there again, but I am always vigilant in such situations. It cost the
waiter twice as he probably had his wages docked and lost out on a tip. If
he'd been honest then the tip would've covered more than the cost of the
wine as there were 16 of us and the total bill was over £500

I think that's the other place, the one downstairs in the cellar, I
know I've been to a meal there that you were at; definitely eccentric.

This is the one I am thinking of http://www.giannicheltenham.com/ and Champ
    recommended it last July

which references Franco's as the one Paul knows plus the meals at Curry
    Corner seem to be memorable

"At the moment my favourite place to eat in Cheltenham is Curry Corner
    - easily the best indian restaurant I've ever eaten in. I'm trying to
restrict myself to one visit a month
