But, but, not all doom and gloom - the 7R went off in a van yesterday
to get fixed by someone with a clue.

 

I dropped it to God's Own Emporium of Motorcycling (Swifts of Laindon)
for an MOT, and they gave it an oil change and did whatever needed to
be done to stop the slight misfire at 6750prm. And they put the tank
and panels and rear mudguard on, too.
