I do feel that _someone_ should bring it to Chimay.

You can take it to Chimay if you want.

16/17 July. I'm going out on the 06.58 Eurotunnel on the Saturday back
on the 19.06 Monday evening. I'm trying not to repeat the drink driving
lunacy of last years return working.

I can't say I'm not tempted. Timing is a bit of a problem, though.

    Weekend of 18th July.

It's taxed and everything. Running like a dream.

Nah - the timing's fine; it's running really sweet.

    hmm.

To get to Folkstone for, say, 6:30, I'd probably need to leave Enfield
    before 5 - that's a pretty early start for a long day. And it's 150
miles or so from Calais from Chimay.

I've not got a tent, either.

If only you knew someone on the south coast who might be able to put
    you up the night before...

I'm leaving Brighton at about 5.00am (latest) to get to Folkestone for
06.30. It's not going to be that long a day, especially as the afternoon
    will have plenty of alcohol.

I presume Champ was thinking of you when he made this comment -
mappy.co.uk suggests it's further from Brighton to Folkstone than it is
    from Enfield.
no, I suppose not, thinking about it. I'll think about it over the
    weekend.

I've no idea how to get hold of Blaney's bike, mind[1]

[1] it sometimes is incredibly irritating to have an SO who doesn't
    drive.

Well, sure, I know someone on the south coast.

Pity Folkstone's on the East Kent coast.
