Paging the charging system gurus.

  1. LED lights if you can get them. Much brightness, little current

    Indeed it is and indeed they are. Apparently the human eye doesn't see
    blue light too well, but that doesn't stop the kiddies with their "high
    temperature" dazzle-o-matic fittings.
    They introduced them on the back of the blue-tinged headlight bulbs, so
    the kiddies could have matching sidelights. At least the trend for
    blue LEDs mounted in the washer jets seems to have passed and yet
    better, the spinning wheel trims have gone the way of all things: I
    stood the bike on its nose when a car wearing a set of them stopped at
    a junction, side-on to me - I thought the fucking wheel was still
    turning.

    Heh I can imagine. It's a shame foglights won't go the same way, but
    otoh I've been having great fun trying to educate people with my pair
    of 100w spotlights. Driving at night has become fun rather than turning
    me into Mr Angry.
