    I'm trying to book a PRINCE2 course for the week I'm home (w/c 12
September), but availability is getting scarce.

Anyone know Parity in Stoke Gifford? Anyone recommend a hotel (or,
better, a pub wot does rooms) in the vicinity? I'd come by train from
Central London, and I'd like to avoid renting a car, if possible.

And, if I manage to get the details worked out, anyone fancy a beer?

Even if there isn't a hotel directly in stoke gifford, it's pretty much
where Bristol Parkway station is... which is one stop out from Central
    Bristol.

So you could stop in the centre of the city and spend half an hour
traveling each morning and evening, then just hop in a cab.

    Dunno if that helps any.

    OMG
I got myself properly accredited last year. It was *tough* to do it in
4 days even after years of PM practice.

As Ginge says, Bristol Parkway is only one hop up from Temple Meads. Dunno
about pub with rooms, but there's a Holiday Inn type place just off the top
of the M32 next to the University (or "Bristol Poly" if you're old enough).
    Too right.

Yes, right next to Brizzle Parkway station, about 5 minutes from my
place and my preferred place to take Prometric exams. The bird on
    reception is cute.
There is, as Dan White mentions, a Holiday Inn Express close to
Parkway station, with a plastic pub next to it and a couple of better
pubs about 10 minutes stagger away. Alternatively, you're more than
welcome to stay at my place.
Stay in central Bristol - there are a selection of hotels close to
Temple Meads station and there are frequent trains from Temple Meads
    to Parkway.
    Yes, preferably more than one.

Well I expect they had to do both of the above to each other before they
went for their colonic irrigation session. Not such a great shock really
;-) They make a nice couple.

Trouble is, the course at Parity is a lot more expensive that doing it
in London, and I'd have to shell out for hotels, etc. Then there's
    the hassle.

But, of course, London is all booked up.

There's a residential course in Bournemouth with Spoce that I think
I'll go for. Anyone used them? Comments?
