    Headlights.

Mine doesn't seem to take regular H4 bulbs. The BoL says it should
(but clearly it lies, no surprises there) but it's a type I don't
think I've ever seen before. It's very similar, but the two smaller
placement pins (for want of a better term) are further apart than
    on a regular fitting.

Which is wrong, the book or the bike? Anyone else got the same, or
    is it just me?

Don't bikes of that era use oil-lamps?

It's not. Trust me. I spent a good ten minutes trying to work out
why the H4 bulb I have wouldn't fit before I realised they're just
not the same. It's *almost* an H4, but not quite.

  6. Exactly!

    The part number is 92069-1104 a 45/45 H4
    ZX9R-C1 is 92069-01002 60/55W H4 the same as my ZXR750L.

IIRC the tags are in a different position on the 45/45 to stop you fitting
    a 60/55 H4 bulb.
