The design of the exhaust has been changed. Originally, and until recently, the silencer was available as a separate unit. Now it's integral with two of the header pipes and the collector box. And, of course, it is a *lot* more expensive. Especially if your silencer is holed and the headers are still fine. In fact, it's £300+VAT. A silencer on its own used to be around £85+VAT. Dave Silver told me that this was just the way the systems are being made in Japan now. Odd, if you ask me. Pattern cans are still available, from Dave Silver's and elsewhere, so an old-style system can be fixed that way. DS charges £49+VAT for a can, which looks identical to OE, albeit without the Honda stamp. Reasonable. Mind you, there's a dealer selling one on Fleabay right now with a BIN of £69. A complete system is £385+VAT. DS also does pattern complete systems, but at £350+VAT I'd rather have the real thing.
