Paging the 35mm cameraisti

Would anyone here who use 35mm cameras have any some plastic film canisters
they no longer need?

I assume you're talking about the little "tubs" and not reloadable film
cartridges, right?

I might have a couple, need to have nosey around.

Any processing lab still doing it will have surplus boxes of the things.
Dead handy for keeping a stash in. So I've heard.

I'll check if there are any spares, I have a few dozen neatly labelled
with tiny parts and pingfuckits nicely stored, there may be a few spares.
Usefull little containers.

 

How many do you need? A quick look in the camera bag revealed a couple
- I'm sure I've got more elsewhere. E-mail me your address if you want
'em.

I think I probably have one of the weirdest use of one

My Dad was a biker and I was actively encouraged from a very early age to
want to ride one. When he died ( 11 years ago yesterday) and was cremated
I got some of the ashes in one, sealed it and keep it under the seat,
sort of a nod to keeping him with me when I'm riding.

 

I think that's very cool and not at all weird.
