Colour is a bit, well, camp. I've recently made a small number of modifications to my Guzzi which has made it a bit lairy. Although not supercharged (ATM) they have made quite a significant difference: about another 10mph; quicker acceleration and higher corner speeds. Still a few issues to be resolved but I'll be bringing it to the BOSM. I've yet to fit the huge valves and high(er) compression pistons. I may be able to afford to fit them later in the summer.
Oh, I like it. I'd like a go. Well, I say that now, but will probably chicken out again if you actually offer. BOSM. I'm not bothering with any of that nonsense this year.
Where do you think the guy got the idea for a supercharge v-twin from, I wonder... Oh, just the time I was due to have a go on it, I was fairly badly hung-over.
Not a very good picture and oddly the only recent one I have. http://www.sweller.dynalias.org/images/guz_front.jpg The brakes are still linked with 4-pot Brembos on cast disks - with Brembo pads as I've yet to find anything that works and lasts as well - and a twin pot Brembo P8 on the back. Power wise? It's difficult to say as my experience of modern bikes is limited. I'd say the most powerful I've ever used - certainly shed loads better than the turbo. Enough to get the back to lift slightly using the hand operated single disk; very inelegant when it lands as the 35mm forks twist and the plot seems to come down with an almighty bang even though it's only up an inch or so.
It's a bit embarrassing really other than the new wide bore headers; open mega 'silencers' (it sounds like a fucking Lancaster in trouble [1]) and a much lighter flywheel which accounts for the slightly better performance; as now it can go off the 125 mph clock; all I've done is simply rebuilt the head races and swing arm taper bearings. The higher corner speed is courtesy of me now having a better idea of what line it's taking at higher speeds. I also should have some FAC two piece air assisted dampers for the front in the v. near future. [1] I'm in two minds about them.
I wouldn't surprised as they're fairly standard Italian issue. Sounds like them. Not a problem - just bear in mind it's a bit arcane in a performance tractor type way. Get a 750S3 and I'll hate you...

That's rather nice. Not the horniest Guzzi I've seen, not by a long chalk, but the fact that it's a supercharged vee-twin[1] makes up for it. Tank looks like a modded Le Mans item. [1] I'm sure I'v read that phrase before.....
I didn't ride that long enough or hard enough (it not being mine) to really get a measure of the brakes; other than they were good.
The engine looks as if its an early type (deeper rocker covers); the tank is either 750S, 750S3 or 1000S; I'd say it's based on a 750S. The original looks a **** sight better and a lot less gay. The supercharger no longer redeems it. If I were to ever replace my T3 it would be with V7 sport or 750S/S3. Best pictures I could come up with in a hurry: 750S http://www.s3750motoguzzi.co.uk/models/750Spics/750S.html 750S3 http://www.s3750motoguzzi.co.uk/models/s3/750S3.html
sweller says... Really? I thought they were pretty crap, even by every other ZZR1100's low standards. You should try any Yamaha fitted with the Sumitimo 4 pots that R1s, R6s, Thunderace etc are fitted with. Now they are superb brakes.
Well, that shows what I know. IIRC I did find the whole thing vague and isolated and the forks were a bit boingee so that probably made me think the brakes were good.
