    Steve,

Did you get sorted out with any sweet peas?

Only next door neighbours haven't got any anymore - they're Polish,
    probably eaten them.

And SWMBO is going over to see her Dad soon - he seems to every type of
    seed on the planet.

If you still want some - I'll get her to see if he's got any.

    Not free ones no.
Unlikely as they are slightly poisonous.

Please. Bear in mind though the important word here is perennial.

Don't think it would bother them - have you tried proper polish

Ho yuss. Been there, done that, got the stains on me boots to prove it.

Obligatory innit, at some time in your life you just have to prove how
hard you are and get yourself, albeit temporarily, outside a bottle of
    120 proof.

    Ta.

/VERY/ temporarily in my case - it hardly had time to warm up....

Stuffing vodka in the freezer, before you drink it, is a neat trick
    innit?

SWMBO had at look through her Dad's collection of seeds.
Loads of sweet peas - no perennial sweet peas though.
    Sorry, mate.
I'll keep an eye and ear open though.

No worries. Sooner or later I'll come across them, they grow wild on

I grew some from seeds bought at Chelsea, 10 or 12 yrs ago... A
beautiful rich burgundy with an almost overpowering heady scent... I
wish I'd written the name down... :-(
