    I was last there two years ago. You wouldn't recognise it from 20
    years ago, indeed even from 5 or 6 years ago. Not only the port area
    but most of the land to the north has also been developed up past
    Nueva Andalucia and El Angel. The new(ish) E5 is great for getting to
    and from the airport at Malaga.

    Somewhere not far from Barcelona, then? Granted, my only exposure to
    Spain thus far has been five days in and around that great city[1], but
    I'd heartily recommend it for the atmos, the style, the shops, the beer,
    the food and the amazing tott^H^Hally welcoming locals. Roses is s'posed
    to be nice.
