How did the mental marathon thingy go?
standard-ish colour scheme for outdoor nonsense though, isn't it? Not that I spend a lot of time in Millett's you understand, but I may have wandered through the "Rucksacks and Outdoor Shit" section of JLP once or twice.
I like all that sort of crap too, without any of the actual walking up a fucking mountain nonsense. Still, my Oakley Lab Coat and Merrell hiking boots will come in handy come the next Ice Age. heh. They usually have beards, that lot. Quite a few around here too, including one which had a mountain bike priced at more than 5K in its window the other day, which is quite frightening (that people would pay that much for a bike with no engine).
Not bad at all! It was bastard >cold on Friday I still think you're slightly mental for doing at this time of year. Summer would be okay. For mental "why the hell" values of okay though... Not surprised...
