This should really be in the thread about the Audi, but I can't reply directly to you because you post x-no-archive, which also means that I can't look at your post to get your e-mail addy. Anyway, you seem to be the front runner (from a field of one) to have a look at this Audi for me, so can you drop me an e-mail at andrew dot richardson at mycompany[1] dot com Do you know anything about looking at cars? Apart from the basics there's not much else to have a look at on the Audi. A lack of blue smoke on startup and when it's running is essential, as is a nice quite gearbox (especially in reverse). Electric window motors are bastard expensive, so they need to be working and the exhaust needs to be in reasonable nick. Can you manage that? Accenture? Hah. I know a bloke who's been hired as a consultant there. Completely clueless. Completely. Yet they hired him. Kind of confirmed a few things.
Aye, I bet they're glad to be rid of a £2bn quid contract! Everybody seems to know somebody who works for one of them...
Aren't they 'affectionately' known as 'Accidenture'? Unisys have/had a slogan - 'The Power of Two' - which prompted an obvious but well-deserved [1] malaprop. I've got a copy of their company song somewhere. Truly dreadful it is. [1] allegedly
Yep, but they're stealing our people left right and centre at the moment, seem to be expanding in a big way.
